First Steps

The set of theories and technologies can be overwhelming. I have a tendency to start with a difficult problem to tackle.  This time, however, I'm showing restraint by (mostly) focusing on the basics:

• Math (Linear Algebra and Calculus Review)
• Statistics (David Freedman)
• Programming (Python, for now, R to follow)

Jurafsky and Martin will just have to wait.
